I spent 35 years navigating the intersection of business growth and high-stakes media production. I’ve seen industries shift and technologies fade, but one thing remains constant: authentic expertise is your most valuable asset.
I founded The Brand Advocate because I watched too many brilliant leaders drowning in the noise. I realized my role wasn't just to produce—it was to advocate for the truth of their expertise. Today, I combine that depth with AI to ensure your voice isn't just heard, it's trusted.

Bossy Berta – Character-Led Creativity with a Point
What it is
A heightened character drawn from my theatre and film‑maker background: a “bossy” creative who can say the things your polite founder voice might never dare.
She’s a kind of parody of the overwhelmed content creator who “can’t seem to create content”—while, of course, doing exactly that.
Why it matters for clients
- Shows how a well‑designed character can carry bolder messages, tougher truths and controlled controversy—without damaging your main brand tone.
- Demonstrates my ability to build a character world: costume, voice, scenarios and running jokes that make a brand instantly recognisable.

A-Star are a growing tuition brand. We created branded video assets for their origin story and sales clips, scripted and professionally directed with brand graphics. We also worked to a clear budget and trained them so they can manage their own filming and editing going forward.
Weald Parish Council commissioned a short film about the new village beacon for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. The video captures the work and thought behind the beacon as a permanent record. It’s become a widely viewed piece on their village Facebook group and a living archive for the community.
